The cones are hand-picked in the Rila mountain, at 2500 m above sea level,

mountain, and the taste of RILSKA vodka is a perfect balance of classic with
slight mountain pine aftertaste. Rila vodka is suitable both for direct
consumption, as well as for the basis of cocktails, shots, hot drinks.
Rila Vodka Classic is a high-class drink, handmade from first-quality,
pure, 100% grain ethyl alcohol and demineralized water from the Rila Mountains,
5 times distilled, created according to classic technology for a truly good taste.
The raw material for making the spirit comes from the most fertile region in the world,
our beautiful, Bulgarian, GOLDEN DOBRUZHA. Choosing the best quality beans, repeated
distillation and filtering through platinum filters, guarantees the high quality of our products.
The cones are hand-picked, in wooden baskets. The terrain is entirely mountainous,
difficult to access, requiring very hard physical labor to pick
and for the export of the raw material. The picking place is at the foot of
the highest and most beautiful peak of the Balkans - Musala peak, as well as the
peaks
Saws, Deno, Aleko, Yastrebets and Markujik.
As the mountain pine is a protected tree species, every year we declare
in advance what amount of pine cones we will collect, strictly observing
the regulations of the State, as well as we pay the relevant fees for the activity.
We are located in the city of Samokov, known by its nickname "Grado". Ancient
an artisan town, nestled in the foothills of the Rila mountain, from which you can watch
breathtaking views and peaks. The area of the city of Samokov is also known for numerous
medicinal herbs. As the winter in the region is long and cold, local people from
ancient times used homemade alcoholic tinctures from various herbs.
